it's cold outside! why do i have to leave then?

awww! today i have to go back to university, i stayed in during the last two days so i had a very long weekend and could stay inside my warm apartment. into the bargain, it just started snowing outside!!! dont get me wrong i really like snow but i dont like the cold-an unhappy combination.
that's why today im wearing a rather comfy combination. after all i have only one class and there i will wear a lab coat, so there is really no reason to dress up.

today i was at h&m and its always fun to take everything i see and make a lot of photos in the changing room. i found some cute dresses and bought the plaid one (photos will follow later).


This is a totally cute petticoated dress and i really wanted to take it, but i couldnt think of any occasion i could wear it. so my rationality won this time ;)

...and here the plaid dress, it reminds me of an apron somehow but i think its very cool and it can be combined in so many ways. It also looks like a weird mixture between rock,"britchick", schoolgirl-uniform and housewife...

After all i bought a pair of black ugg-boots and i know what you think, who is still wearing ugg-boots? so here is the answer-me! after all it's getting really cold now and i can no longer wear my beloved nike sneakers...and these boots are so warm and cuddly, i'm wearing them right now in my apartment!

unfortunately i 'm not that lucky living in california or on the carribean islands so i have to bother with this fucking cold, rainy and greyish cloudy weather...now there is an essential need for warm clothing and accecoires. you totally need a thick and long scarf, warm boots, gloves, thights (i like bright colours, makes the day less grey)and very thick socks...Et voilà!
